Arden Hills lies approximately 8 miles north of the downtown areas of St. Paul and Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is situated in Ramsey County and covers 9.4 square miles with an estimated population of 9,692 persons. The City serves as home to many large corporations, numerous small to medium size businesses, and two (2) private colleges.

The City of Arden Hills' lakes, trails, and neighborhood parks provide the backdrop for strong, active, and diverse neighborhoods. The City is home to two colleges (Bethel and Northwestern), Moundsview High School, strong churches, and significant open space. Arden Hills is also home to the Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant (TCAAP), one of the largest undeveloped tracts in the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area.
