About the Community of MinnetonkaWhile statistics show that Minnetonka, located on the border of Lake Minnetonka, is somewhat larger and more developed than some of the Twin Cities' suburbs, the state's 14th largest city still seems cozy and quaint. It is one of the metro area's older suburbs, and as a result homes have a great deal of character--and where there's lakeshore, opulence. Neighborhoods are heavily wooded, thanks to Minnetonka's dedication to preserving the natural landscape. Minnetonka is home to a number of single and multiple family residential dwellings with commercial, office, and industrial development.Minnetonka Parks & Recreationwww.ci.golden-valley.mn.us/parks
