About the Community of St. Paul-Homecroft

This delightful neighborhood is located on the Southern border of Saint Paul. For years it has been considered a working class neighborhood with affordable homes. Since St. Paulís recent real estate boom, the Homecroft neighborhood has been rediscovered, and is a fantastic neighborhood to live! It is located close to Crocus Hill and Highland Park, so all of the amenities of those neighborhoods are nearby. Parts of the neighborhood overlook the Mississippi River, and it has several schools and parks. Seventh Street runs right through the neighborhood and provides easy access to Downtown, the Excel Energy Center, and all of the new restaurants and bars that have evolved over the past 10 years.

The City of Saint Paul, Division of Parks and Recreation has great places to visit and fun activities for the whole family to enjoy. Included among its facilities are over 160 parks and open spaces, the Como Park Zoo and Marjorie McNeely Conservatory, 41 recreation centers, a 9 hole and three 18 hole golf courses, over 100 miles of trails, indoor and outdoor pools, a public beach, sports and aquatics facilities, and wonderful rental facilities for weddings, picnics, and corporate events.
