The City of White Bear Lake is located about 20 minutes north of St. Paul and covers 10 square miles. There are about 26,000 people who make their home here. The residents of White Bear Lake have a great deal of pride in their community. White Bear Lake Parks & Recreation
Golf courses, beaches, lakes and trails can all be found within the boundaries of White Bear Lake - offering residents many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Many of the parks include facilities for picnics, fishing, skating and swimming as well as fields for softball, volleyball and basketball.
White Bear Lake itself is the second largest lake within the metropolitan area. The lake's width makes it a great place to enjoy sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, boating and fishing in the summer, and cross country skiing, skating, ice fishing and ice boating in the winter.
